The Aesthetics Professionals Collective (APC) operates as a professional trade support body and a registered Community Interest Company (CIC).
APC exists to support ethical, lawful, and professional aesthetic practice through education, guidance, community support, and shared professional standards. APC is not a regulator, training provider, enforcement authority, or licensing body.
2. Scope of APC’s Role
APC provides general guidance, education, professional resources, and community support.
APC does not provide:
- Individual legal advice
- Clinical or medical advice
- Business or financial advice
- Regulatory or enforcement services
All members remain fully responsible for decisions made within their own practice, including compliance with UK law, regulation, insurance, and professional obligations.
3. Website Use
By accessing or using the APC website, you agree to:
- Use the site lawfully and respectfully
- Not misuse content, systems, or communications
- Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or compromise the website or APC platforms
APC reserves the right to restrict access where misuse occurs.
4. Membership
APC membership is a paid, subscription-based professional alignment and is subject to application, acceptance, and ongoing alignment with APC values, standards, and conduct expectations.
Membership:
- Is offered to individual practitioners only
- Is granted for a minimum term of twelve (12) months
- Does not confer any regulatory status, licence, or qualification
- May be reviewed or revoked where conduct is misaligned with APC values or community safety
No refunds will be issued where membership access is withdrawn due to breach of standards or misalignment.
5. Fees & Renewal
Membership fees are payable in advance and cover a 12-month subscription period.
APC reserves the right to review and adjust membership fees annually. Any fee changes will take effect from 1 April each year.
As a CIC, APC reinvests membership and sponsorship income into education, professional resources, community initiatives, and operational delivery for community benefit.
6. Member Conduct & Community Standards
Members are expected to engage with professionalism, integrity, and respect within APC spaces and where association with APC may be visible.
Harassment, intimidation, misrepresentation, misinformation, or behaviour that undermines community safety, wellbeing, or public trust is not aligned with APC standards.
Concerns should be raised privately through APC’s established channels. APC does not engage in public disputes or call-outs.
APC reserves the right to review conduct and, where necessary, withdraw access to membership, platforms, or resources to protect the integrity and safety of the community. No refunds will be given.
7. Advisory Board & Governance
APC is founder-established and supported by an Advisory Board that provides professional insight and experience to inform APC’s development.
The Advisory Board:
- Is advisory only
- Does not regulate practice
- Does not adjudicate legal or clinical complaints
APC may review membership alignment where concerns arise, but investigation, enforcement, or legal action remain outside APC’s remit.
8. Editorial Content & Contributions
Content published on APC platforms, including Editorial, is subject to editorial review.
APC reserves the right to:
- Edit, amend, decline, retain, display, or archive content
- Ensure alignment with APC values, accuracy, and public interest
Once published, content forms part of APC’s professional resources and record. Publication and retention of content are not dependent on ongoing membership or affiliation.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, materials, branding, and resources remain the intellectual property of APC unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
APC processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
By using the APC website or applying for membership, you agree to the collection and processing of data necessary for APC’s professional, administrative, and governance purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
APC is not liable for:
- Decisions made by practitioners in their own practice
- Outcomes arising from reliance on general guidance or shared information
- Loss, damage, or harm arising outside APC’s reasonable control
APC provides support and guidance only. Responsibility for professional practice remains with the individual practitioner.
12. Amendments
APC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect operational, legal, or governance changes.
